Victorian Government uses cammsproject to help reduce family violence
THE Victorian Government has established a strategic partnership with CAMMS to help reduce family violence across the state.
After the Royal Commission into Family Violence Report was tabled in 2016, the Department of Premier and Cabinet (DPC) was instructed to coordinate a ‘Whole of Government’ response to the 227 recommendations and associated projects listed in the report.
Given $2.1 billion in funding, DPC enlisted CAMMS to provide a reporting solution for all recommendations, actions and projects across the eight key entities working on family violence reform.
Now, the government uses cammsproject, in combination with cammsstrategy, to report progress to all stakeholders, including Cabinet, Ministers, the Victorian Secretaries Board, Government Departments and the Implementation Monitor.
CAMMS Managing Director Joe Collins said the use of cammsproject would help deliver effective and efficient reporting.
“We’re pleased to be working with the Victorian Government to spark generational change around the important issue of family violence,” Mr. Collins said.
